The NWZ Hockey Association is a member of Hockey Edmonton and has been providing organized hockey since 1972. The NWZ Hockey Association is open to all boys and girls, 13 through 17 years of age. You will find our program fun, yet competitive, with our main goal being the development of skating and hockey skills.

The NWZ Hockey Association area is not restricted by inter-city boundaries. Any player resident in the City of Edmonton may join our program.

NWZ Registration Update:

Thank you for your patience as we worked through finalizing our registration numbers. We are excited to share that, due to strong interest and growth this season, we are able to expand and add additional teams in both U15 and U18.

This year has been an incredible one for registrations, and we are thrilled to see so many players joining us for the upcoming season. With the addition of these teams, we are now able to accommodate more athletes—but please note that space is still very limited.

We encourage you to register as soon as possible as evaluations for non body contact are beginning this Sunday September 14th.

We are looking forward to another great season of hockey with NWZ and thank you again for your continued support.

Skate Group Update:

Skate groups for Goalie Skills and Non-Body Contact Skills Sessions will be posted by 5:00 PM on Wednesday, September 10. Body Contact Skills skate groups will be posted by 5:00 PM on Monday, September 16.

Please note: Goalies are required to attend the Player Skills sessions as well, and will be listed under the Evaluation Skate Times tab.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support of NWZ.
